Teachers - Sessions were fun, fast paced with great music and lots of Welsh. Children were really engaged. Teachers like the way traffic light system was included in the session for healthy and unhealthy foods game. very useful to see what the children thought and helped to plan next steps for learning. Each session was appropriately challenging for each class. The Welsh music used was a real hit.Post visit children haven't stopped asking when Mr Ffit is coming back.

Children - It was lots of fun but challenging. It was very hot and sweaty! We were learning Welsh and keeping fit at the same time. School council and Criw Cymreictod liked the way you helped them make a plan for healthy eating at lunchtime. Mr Ffit listened to our ideas and helped us plan what we need to do going forward.

Diolch, Mr Ffit! Thank you for visiting our Year 4 pupils at the beginning of the term to kick start our Curriculum 2022 Topic 'Witness the Fitness'. They learned so much about fitness and well-being and absolutely loved the workouts, all whilst learning some new Welsh vocabulary and phrases. We look forward to having you back one day.

Teachers – Great Welsh language based Wellbeing and Fitness sessions. The children were fully engaged and listened intently to the messages about looking after our own wellbeing. The traffic light game involving different foods using the Welsh language gave us an excellent insight into the children’s understanding of what’s healthy and not. Great way to develop the Welsh language.

Children –We loved the loud music, it really got us moving. We enjoyed the different activities that taught us how to be fit and healthy. Mr Ffit made us laugh and encouraged us to do our best. It helped us work together as a team. We used Welsh words we hadn’t used before. It was fun!

Teachers - Mr Ffit visited our school on Shwmae Day 2021 and helped make it a great day for the pupils. All the children from Reception to Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed the health and fitness sessions which were well-delivered, engaging and informative. It was very beneficial for staff to see how physical activities could be delivered bilingually. Mr Ffit had a great rapport with all age groups and even played football with the children at playtime! The children had a great time and the staff enjoyed Mr Ffit’s visit too! Diolch o galon, Mr Ffit! We hope to see you again soon!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Children - We really enjoyed doing #FfitFebruary this term, we loved learning about being fit and healthy. We really enjoyed the fun activities we did in school, and we also loved doing the exciting activities at home as well, such as obstacle courses and challenges. We think that everyone did really well, and we hope we can do something like this again!

As the children in class had already been introduced to Mr Ffit through his online challenges, they were extremely excited to be taking part in his energetic and fun wellbeing and fitness session during our Welsh week. Mr Ffit’s focus on promoting the Welsh language was a key factor in us inviting him to come to Ynysfach. He introduced the language subtly through the use of Welsh music and songs used during games and warm ups, his inclusion of Welsh instructions and also questioning the children for key vocabulary suitable for their year group. He had numerous activities and games at his disposal, demonstrating his flexibility and adaptability. He pitched the pace and level of the session perfectly to suit the children’s varying abilities and needs. The whole school had the pleasure of taking part in his sessions throughout the school day and it is a testament to him that each came out expressing a wish to have him return in the future. Diolch Mr Ffit!

We had Mr Ffit in as a visitor as part of our "Immersion Days" linked to the New Curriculum for Wales. The plan was for Mr Ffit to represent the "Healthy Confident Individuals" core purpose by talking to the children about keeping a healthy body and mind. The children all absolutely loved the sessions and each one was pitched at the appropriate age and ability level. What was an added bonus was Mr Ffit's use of relevant and incidental Welsh - a great way to introduce some new vocabulary.  Mr Ffit also worked with our 'Health and Wellbeing' pupil voice group on strategies to encourage our pupils to be more active during playtimes. They also worked together to create a questionnaire using Google Forms which we used to establish a baseline of current activity levels.  he feedback from all teaching staff was that the Mr Ffit sessions were great fun and that the children were all really engaged. Thank you Mr Ffit, we hope to see you again soon!

WAW! What a fun filled, insightful day. Mr Ffit engaged well with all our learners from reception all the way to year 6. The differentiation was clear and well thought of. His activities were fast paced and engaged the learners all day. We used Mr Ffit to launch our my body, my mind and me topic with a big focus on health and well-being, and Mr Ffit did this perfectly. His activities and teaching sparked curiosity with our learners and left them wanting more and asking fantastic questions. Diolch Mr Ffit.
