Hey there, superstar! Did you know your body is like a race car? It needs the best fuel (food!) to go fast, stay strong, and feel great. But if you give it the wrong fuel, it might slow down or stop working well. Let’s find out what foods help you zoom through your day!


Why Do We Need Food?

Food is energy! It helps you:

✅ Run and play

✅ Think and learn

✅ Grow big and strong

✅ Stay healthy


But not all food is good fuel. Some foods make you powerful, while others make you feel slow and tired.


Power Foods (Good Fuel!)

These foods help your body work its best:

🥦 Veggies – Carrots, broccoli, and peppers make you strong.

🍎 Fruits – Apples, bananas, and berries give you energy.

🍞 Whole Grains – Oats, rice, and brown bread help your brain work.

🥜 Protein – Chicken, fish, eggs, and beans build muscles.


Slow-You-Down Foods (Not-So-Good Fuel!)

These foods taste yummy but can make you feel tired and weak if you eat too much:
