Why Do We Need Sleep?


Think of your body like a phone—it needs to recharge! Sleep gives you energy, helps you grow, and makes sure your brain is ready for learning, playing, and having fun!


When Should Kids Sleep?


Your body has a special body clock that tells you when to be awake and when to sleep. The best time for kids to sleep is between 8:00 PM and 9:30 PM so you wake up feeling fresh and ready for the day!


How Long Should You Sleep?


Kids need 9 to 12 hours of sleep each night. If you wake up at 7:00 AM, bedtime should be between 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM.


What Happens While You Sleep?


Even though you’re resting, your body is super busy! Here’s what it does:

Your brain stores memories and helps you learn.

✅ Your immune system fights germs to keep you healthy.

✅ Your heart and lungs keep working to give you energy.


What If You Don’t Sleep Enough?

How to Sleep Better

✔️ Avoid sugary snacks before bedtime.
